Custom Clubfitting
The very first thing I did over the weekend was finding the right custom clubfitting for me. I've been wanting a set of custom made clubs for ages, and this year I finally decided to treat myself. I asked some of my golfer buddies if they could recommend someone to do the work. Many of them told me about a professional clubfitter in town who was well-known for his expertise. This fellow was pretty backed up because his services were in great demand. I had to wait a while for an appointment with him.
But believe me, it was worth the wait. The professional clubfitter did a really detailed analysis of my swing with each different club. The process took a bit longer than I expected, but I guess that's what it takes to do a good job. I ordered and paid for my custom clubs, and now I'm waiting for the phone call to tell me that they are ready. I feel like a kid at Christmas, waiting for Santa Claus to deliver my present.
